Converting Luddites

Leave it to B.L. Ochman to take on the international court of public relations. Per Steve Outing it seems PRSA isn't covering blogging during their upcoming international convention in New York City (but they are covering the subject on a localized and regional basis as seen by Steve Rubel in PR Week). As a PR blogger myself, I of course agree with B.L. that blogging is an important part of the communications mix that needs to be presented and integrated into the traditional media marketing mix. For, blogging finally puts the Internet into the hands of PR).

It's clear blogs are credibility builders and their day has come. PRSA's management may not be seeing the media coverage blogs are making and getting in the mainstream media (in questioning the facts presented during the current presidential race speeches). So, contact PRSA here to get B.L. a spot in their upcoming convention. After meeting her, I'm sure she can convert any Luddite into an open-armed receiver of technology.
